BAILEY REESE GREEMON

Hi there! 

 

My name is Bailey Reese Greemon and I am a NYC based artist! I grew up in a small town in South Carolina called Fort Mill, just a few miles south of Charlotte, North Carolina. 

 

I started dance classes when I was four, but was certainly wiggling much before then! I also played many sports growing up but quickly ditched the cleats for my tap shoes. I found theatre when I had the honor of getting to work with Debbie Allen on her original dance musical Brothers of the Knight. I came home that summer and sat my mother down to tell her that I wanted to do online school so that I could sing and dance and act all day instead. I spent the rest of my formative years schooling myself, dancing twenty-five hours a week, and building my resume working in the Charlotte theatre community! I wanted to further expand my skill set and was fortunate enough to have spent my last two years of high school living at and attending the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities in their Drama program, where I studied straight acting, graduating class of 2021. From there, I moved to Massachusetts to pursue my B.F.A in Musical Theatre from the Boston Conservatory. My senior year looked a little different as I joined the Funny Girl First National Tour as a member of #swingnation! I was able to complete the rest of my coursework on the road and graduated Summa Cum Laude with my B.F.A and an Emphasis in Dance this past May. 

 

When I am not actively performing, you can find me choreographing to my current favorite song, trying a new restaurant, raving about the animated film “Rio”, or laughing A LOT with my friends!
